Denmark may well be a small country with just 5.6 million people but we are well-known for a lot of things which are world famous.
Danish HYGGE: The big buzz word out of Denmark in the last few years. It’s all about hanging out with friends and family and having a good time, enjoying reading a book in the sunshine or in front of the fireplace, and just doing something you enjoy without any pressure to do anything else. People translate it into English as ‘cosiness’ but that’s not quite it.
Happiest country in the World: Yes, Danish people may look serious but according to universities of Cambridge, Denmark have been chosen the happiest country in the world. Well! now we lost the 1st place to Switzerland, Denmark is now the 3rd Happiest country with Iceland in 2nd place.
Danish Pastries/Dairy Products: Danish Pasteries are seriously the best and also Denmark is known for it's dairy products because climate here and soil provide most favorable conditions for dairy cattle farming. Alsom food safety and high quality products are trademarks of the Danish produce.
LEGO: Who doesn't know LEGO? From toys store to blockbuster Hollywood animated film, it's everywhere.
