I was excited to see that someone had placed a travel bug of mine (not this one) into one of my local caches! I threw on my winter clothes and headed out the door, looking forward to grabbing my Baby Bear 14 TB. A friend had told me that day she was headed to Iceland to do some caching in February, and I wanted to give her my bear TB to take with her.
When I got to the cache, I saw that the freshly fallen snow had many tracks in it, and I got that sinking feeling in my stomach. Sure enough, when I checked, my Baby Bear 14 bug was no longer there. geob.o.b. and her band of merry cachers had been to my cache earlier and had swapped in a couple of bugs and taken Baby Bear!
The story ends well, however. Not only did I get 2 new TBs to bring along on my journeys for a bit, I was able to contact geo.b.o.b. and arrange to get my Baby Bear from her soon!
I see that your TB wants to visit all 50 states. Let me see what I can do to help it meet its goals. I might be headed to New York state soon, or there may be some other cachers I know who would like to take this to the USA with them. Stay tuned!
