Scott's Medallion 5

A hiking stick medallion my brother Scott gave me and told me to turn it into a TB. It's the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War. Red, white, blue and gold in color.

I will be going west and drop the travel bug in a cache - probably Idaho. It had a 14 month stay in Illingworth Was Here which is not an easy site to access so it sees very little traffic. (Had to correct my typo on length of stay)

  • A popular photo spot in 1874 Illingworth accompanied the 1874 expedition to the Black Hills lead by George A. Custer and took photos.  The photo points have been located and publications showing "then and now" views are available from dakotaphoto.com
