Juliette Bear Scout 2003

Hi! My name is Juliette Bear Scout. I am a member of Girl Scout Troop 1989 in Cincinnati, Ohio. My last mission was to scout the way to Toronto, Ontario and arrive there before my troop did in June 2002. Unfortunately I got a little side tracked, and ended up in Toronto, Kansas! This year the girls can't decide where to go. We were heading to England, but because off all the trouble overseas it was decided we would stay in the states. Now some people would like to go to California, some to Texas, or Boston, and even Mall of America! My job is to "scout out" some new oportunities. I have my notebook for notes, and a back pack for souveniers. I hope to see some really interesting sights!

Seems like some paper work got mixed up as Juliette was checked into the Sheraton Hotel Cache when we picked her up. This cache was in Central Square in Upstate New York. It was a lovely spot in the woods; a perfect place for a Girl Scout to visit.

I wish we had time to take her to see some of the lovely places in the Adirondacks. That is a beautiful place and had lots of trails and lakes for canoeing and the camping is great. I know Juliette and all her friends would like that area.

We will get her out and traveling as soon as we can. But for now we our going to have a nice visit with her in our home. We are hoping she has lots of exciting adventures in her future.

Retrieved this little scout from the Syracuse Shindig #2. I will hopefully get some good ideas from my 13 yr. old daughter as to a cool place to chill for awhile! Something tells me Juliette with be going on a couple shopping trips before she goes....the Carosel Mall is a great place to shop!!

Little Juliette Bear Scout was part of the prize for winning Rosy Jeopardy. Hopefully, we will get the ammo can (complete with trade items) planted soon - weather permitting. If so, she will be part of that new cache. Thanks TG, EE, and MB.

  • Juliette Bear at a Geocaching event Juliette Bear attended a geocaching event with about 30 geocachers this morning in snowy Kirkwood, NY. We had to hike about 3 miles in snow to get the clues and then meet up for a breakfast at the Elk's Club. The team that won the game won an ammo box to place, complete with contents we all brought. Our team brought a ladybug compass and Juliette! The team that won travels north to the border with Canada, so I am hopeful that Juliette may indeed make it through customs someday! Bon Voyage J

Magnolia Bud made me come back (a pleasure for sure) to retrieve Juliette Bear because she wants to take her to her Brownie G.S. meeting next week. Maybe we can drop her at Rosy Jeopardy if we make it there. TG
