Juliette Bear Scout 2003

Hi! My name is Juliette Bear Scout. I am a member of Girl Scout Troop 1989 in Cincinnati, Ohio. My last mission was to scout the way to Toronto, Ontario and arrive there before my troop did in June 2002. Unfortunately I got a little side tracked, and ended up in Toronto, Kansas! This year the girls can't decide where to go. We were heading to England, but because off all the trouble overseas it was decided we would stay in the states. Now some people would like to go to California, some to Texas, or Boston, and even Mall of America! My job is to "scout out" some new oportunities. I have my notebook for notes, and a back pack for souveniers. I hope to see some really interesting sights!

Just moving the bug slightly down the street to a cache it will actually fit inside. I was worried about it being out in the cold by itself. I found it safe and dry in a good ziploc bag.

I enjoy Beaver Lake with it's long trails, park on one end, and water flow on the other side. The park has board walks and is a great place for birds and animals, so I will suggest you give this spot a visit if you are passing thru Asheville.

Obviously I can't claim to be a girl scout, but I was an Eagle Scout (BSA) so I wish you luck and a fun summer!

I retrieved Julliette Bear Scout TB. She is a great little bear! When I was in middle and high school I was a Cadette and Senior Scout. I actually was a First Class Cadette. Who knows if they even have that anymore!

I had such fun as a scout. It actually got me interested in the outdoors and service to others. I went to Wyoming to National Girl Scout Camp and to England to International Girl Scout Camp. I have such good memories!!

My oldest daughter is almost old enough to be a Brownie. I am looking forward to getting back into it as she starts out.

Thanks for a great TB and I think Asheville, North Carolina would be a great place to travel to! I'll send Juliette on her way soon. Thanks!

After a brief struggle I was able to "capture" the little girl scout bear and will be "bearing" her off to another location. I'm sure she'll enjoy her next broom trip (what else would a witch drive around?), probably down south, where the weather is more apt to stay warm for a longer period of time. Our weather in Ohio just likes to tease us and make us believe we'll be able to go caching any time we want. In the meantime, she is safe and sound in my oven,no no, I mean house, and will be yelling for help, no no, I mean letting you know where she is as soon as she escapes, no no, I mean gets where she's going. Wish her luck!
