There are 4 Travel Bugs which represent defunct collieries:

Hammond Travel Bug

Beechwood Travel Bug

Glen Dower Travel Bug

Vulcan Travel Bug

PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THESE TRAVEL BUGS FROM SCHUYLKILL COUNTY

        


 When you recover one of these Travel Bugs, please move it on quickly as there are probably other geocachers already on the hunt for it !!

 

 

 Each one contains partial coordinates for the final cache location. 

The problem is the nature of travel bugs.

  Sometimes when you forge that 3 mile hike to get that last travel bug.... it has already moved to another spot.

Found in Big Mine Run GC13JTP while attending the Centralia: Cache and Burn event. Moving this beautiful piece of anthracite rainbow coal down to "The Falls" ;) Keeping it in Skook as requested!

Ok.... So here's the deal. Thought I was doing a cool thing when I brought this to OBX. WRONG! :)... I didn't realize I wasn't supposed to move it from Schuylkill county. Oops! Dropped it and then returned the next day to get it back. It was still there. Bringing it back to coal country!
