There are 4 Travel Bugs which represent defunct collieries:

Hammond Travel Bug

Beechwood Travel Bug

Glen Dower Travel Bug

Vulcan Travel Bug

PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THESE TRAVEL BUGS FROM SCHUYLKILL COUNTY

        


 When you recover one of these Travel Bugs, please move it on quickly as there are probably other geocachers already on the hunt for it !!

 

 

 Each one contains partial coordinates for the final cache location. 

The problem is the nature of travel bugs.

  Sometimes when you forge that 3 mile hike to get that last travel bug.... it has already moved to another spot.

oooops! In our excitement of such an unusual TB, we didn't realize that it has boundaries. We'll get it back with in the county shortly. Original thought was how neat it'd be to spread a part of the history of Schuykill County to other parts of the world. On that note, it's a bit disappointing to send it back north.
