DRYANGLES WACKY RACES

Buster is one of 4 Cachebuddies that were released by our good friend Detour97
who took them to Canada with him and released them on our behalf.

They are now in a race to see which one can return to North Yorkshire first
and be placed in one of OUR caches.
Along the way, it would be nice to see photos of all the places they have visited.

Our 2 boys are looking forward to seeing all the adventures their TB's have on their journey.

The 4 Cachebuddies in the race are

QuackersThe Duck belonging to Les (TB5NMR2)
Buster the Bunny   belonging to Ange (TB5QFYW)
Tyler the Turtle       belonging to Dan (TB5FZRT)
Bamboo the Panda belonging to Ryan (TB3ZOT3)

Because I was walking and geocaching, I was 10 minutes behind the in laws getting into Windsor. They got on the first train and left me there. Thanks a lot. When I finally got home, they were waiting for me to make dinner. Ummmm, no.

High excitement, we have slightly detoured off the Thames Path walked into Bray so you can have lunch with Heston Blumenthal at his pub. Not that Heston was actually there of course but I'm sure he was present in spirit. And it wasn't the Fat Duck and the other one which both need months of reservations (Heston has a bit of a food empire going in Bray). Still, it was all good fun and the lunch was delicious. I meant to take a photo of you but forgot after the first wine. Hard to start walking again....

Lovely sunny spot by the Thames that I'm logging to get the shape of the river.

Another schlep for you up to the Thames Path. Day 6, Marlow to Windsor, 23km, Sunny and 18. The leaves are starting to turn. I've got the in-laws with me who do not like geocaching at all. I've told them to walk on ahead. The cache container was a Dalek - cute.

Nearly back in Richmond. Got attacked by nettles here.

Visited 10/4/2016 Wombatwandering took it to Pope's Grotto London, United Kingdom - 5.16 miles  Visit Log

The in laws have arrived from Australia. I'm taking them on a walk up one side of the Thames and back the other to Richmond. Lovely day.

Finally found this cache, it's been my nemesis. You must be my lucky token! Banks of the Thames in Barnes.

This cache is near Henley on Thames, famous in rowing circles. The cache itself is opposite a house which has its own model train running through the garden. It's big enough for people. There is also a scale model of the St Moritz train station. Did I mention the polo fields?
