About This Item

I was found in a free box at a garage sale in Cornell WI. Shirley loved to bowl and now I am going on to live out her dream of bowling across the US. We love bowling here in Wisconsin but I am ready for the big leagues, the bowing hall of fame. Pictures on my web site or stories about me bowling would be great. Get out and bowl.

The Bowling Pin Bug went to Flaherty's Bowl in Arden Hills for the start of the 2003-2004 season. The pictures are crappy though, so it will return next week.

I had planned on taking the bug to a Junior Doubles Tournament in Madison, Wisconsin this weekend, but my son's partner went back to school in Wichita.

I had planned on taking the bug to the Greater Iowa State Bowling Tournament in Muscatine, Iowa next week, I'm coaching youth baseball instead.

Correction:

Kollin was All-State in 2002, not 2000

Addition:

Dustin, Erik, David, Carl, Kris were in St. Louis for the 6th annual Junior Gold Bowling national championship.

On July 18 Erik was crowned national youth amateur champion. He averaged 206.7 for 46 tournament games to earn the national male individual championship and his first berth on Junior Team USA.

Erik plans to bowl for St. Cloud State University. He has 16 perfect games (300) and four 800+ series.

Bragging:Eric won at Cedarvale today. In his 9 Match Play games, he lost only one:

Erik: 213

Kris: 246

For one game, I beat a national champion!

After placing a new cache in Owatonna, and going to the Steele County Free Fair, The Bowling Pin Bug and I went to South Park Lanes.

 • South Park Lanes (Owatonna) 11:00 pm Saturday night, after 8 hours at the Steele County Free Fair, tired, drained (98 degree heat is hard work), the flash wasn't on, and we wanted to get home.

Picked up at Creekside. Will drop off at another local cache soon. Thanks for the TB, it's nice to find one. I always seem to get there too late. Cheers!
