Graf Folke Bernadotte möchte alle Orte besuchen in denen es einen Pfadfinderstamm mit seinem Namen oder eine nach ihm benannten Straße oder Platz gibt. Also auf: Sucht nach diesen Orten.
Auf jeden Fall möchte er nach Fulda in Deutschland, denn hier gibt es einen Pfadfinderstamm  Graf Folke Bernadotte Fulda.

About This Item

Graf Folke BernadotteFolke Bernadotte Graf von Wisborg  war ein schwedischer Offizier. UND er war auch ein Pfadfinder!!

Von 1943 bis 1948 war er Vizepräsident und später Präsident des Schwedischen Roten Kreuzes. 1948 wurde er Vermittler der Vereinten Nationen in Palästina und am 17. September desselben Jahres von Angehörigen der jüdischen Terroristen-Gruppe Lechi erschossen.
Er hat sich insbesondere als Vizepräsident des Schwedischen Roten Kreuzes um die Rettung von KZ Insassen und Kriegsgefangenen verdient gemacht. In vielen Städten wir durch die Benennung von Straßen und Plätzen an ihn gedacht. So in Wien, Frankfurt am Main - Nordweststadt, Berlin, Hamburg, Lübeck, Bielefeld, Kassel und Neu-Isenburg. 
Auch haben sich viele Pfadfinderstämme nach ihm benannt. So z.B. Saarlouis, Vellmar, Rüthen, Viernheim, Bergisch Gladbach ....... und natürlich auch in  Fulda

    It's been too long since I retrieved the cache but now it can finally continue its journey. Dropping it near the Ålesund airport, the final point of my one week sailing trip to nearby islands and villages: the little guy travelled with me to Ona, Midsund, Runde, Sandsøya, and Urke.
