This bear wants to hibernate briefly in every cache that has the word "bear" in it, currently (as of 10/14/2003) listed at 288 caches!

Many thanks to tumbleweed2 for providing me with updated info regarding the number of 'bear' caches world-wide! It is amazing to see the number increase to 1571 (as of Oct 30, 2007) related caches in four years!

Bearly Moving coming out of his cave!

We found this grizzly little bear in a cache this weekend, and thought it would make a great travel bug! Please feel free to place him anywhere (keeping the BEAR theme in mind if you can...) and keep us informed about his travels!

I jut located some photos I took when Bearly Moving visited Papa Bear in Kennewick, WA. Thought I'd post them here.

  • Bearly Moving visiting Papa Bear Papa wasn't too happy about our disturbing his hibernation sleep, but he let us in.

Made the nice walk to visit all of the Bear Family caches today on a gorgeous February President's Day afternoon. We were escorting Bearly There TB as he visits as many "Bear" caches as he can. Photos will follow once I get them off the camera.

I noticed that Bearly Moving TB was barely moving, in fact, not at all, since I placed him in Baby Bear's cache, so I picked him up to go visit Mama and Papa Bear, and then see if Goldilocks was home. She wasn't.......

I should have known better than to place Bearly Moving in a cache with Bear in the name, since this is hibernation time. He did too, hibernate,that is, at Baby's house, so I didn't let him nap here at Mama's. hHe just popped in here at Mama's for lunch. Now it is off to Papa's house.
