On June 22, the Western North Carolina Geocachers held a meeting and pizza party. We built a superb cache in a LAAARRRRGE ammo box. It is filled with quality items, and about 5 travellers, including Clifford, so he has plenty of company. He is in the Western North Carolina Geocachers Signature Cache, just planted on June 23rd. So long, Clifford

Clifford has travelled a long way in a short time, and needed over a month to rest up in TUBE TORCHER. This was the toughest cache yet. Check the site and see for yourself. I started out climbing to the top of three different huge silos, one of which was surrounded by neck deep sticker bushes. After the third silo, I spent the rest of the day crawling up drainage pipes, probably over a mile of travelling underground looking for encoded clues. Finally the cache was located, after climbing down a boulder covered hill covered with sticker bushes and poison ivy. Now I will need a rest before sending Clifford on his way. Clifford is one of my grandson's favorite characters. He knows all of Clifford's adventures. My adventure was something I will remember for a long time.

Ruff Ruff! Drove down today after work to nab Clifford. He seems to be heading generally East, so I'll see if I can help him out. If he doesn't mind hanging out with me for a week, he'll get his first airplane trip!

We found Clifford safe and sound at a very nice site to visit near Sioux Fall, South Dakota. We took him straight east to Cedar Creek Park near Fairmont, Minnesota. This site has a super disk golf course and lots of dog prints on the ground, so we knew he would enjoy a visit here. He definitely looked happy!
