The Amazing Race - Maverick
The mission of this travel bug is to log as much distance as possible. Please keep it moving and don't hold onto it too long even it means you can only move it a short distance. It is in a race with 5 other TBs to see who can record the most distance. (See Description)

The Amazing Race - Maverick visited the cache Bowral to Moss Vale #6.
Tonight we were heading to our weekly puzzle solving event and I realised there I had not obtained the newly published Virtual Cache in the park I was passing. There are two brass statues here, one for my cousin, a renowned Australian cricketer, and the other being ‘Mary Poppins’. I just had to stop and make the find for this cache.

Tonight we were heading to our weekly puzzle solving event and I realised there I had not obtained the newly published Virtual Cache in the park I was passing. There are two brass statues here, one for my cousin, a renowned Australian cricketer, and the other being ‘Mary Poppins’. I just had to stop and make the find for this cache.

Another cache found. It is so much fun going caching in the dark. I think finding easy caches in the dark the best, maybe because I am not an experienced night cacher. We went on a long trip north and had a really good time caching at 1am in the morning during our travels, it gave me a buzz and made the night travel a whole lot of fun and a great memory left in my mind. I really want to do that again. Tonight we found all the caches targeted.

Heading home following the Puzzle Caching Night it was decided to stop and find a small series of 6 caches along the main road between two towns. The road is really busy during the day and I have been hesitant to go out then, but tonight was quiet and it was a mild winter night at 20:00 hours. I decided to leave two caches for finding during the day.

The Amazing Race - Maverick visited the cache SideTracked - Marulan.
A cool winters day which began with nice weather and deteriorated over the course of the day. I had planned to head south to Goulburn to cache, but first stop was to place some Letterbox Caches. We needed somewhere to place large 20 litre barrels, and found large hollows in two trees. By this time it was drizzling rain. On the way to our next destination we saw numerous cans and bottles so stopped to collect them to recycle. By the time we got to Marulan there was really only enough time to find one cache, and it was a Multi Cache at Marulan Railway Station. With that all done, it was now cold, wet and darkness was descending, so we ventured home.
