The Amazing Race - Maverick visited the cache *WLS #2. An early start this morning began with a soccer game. Following that, we headed off to school to disassemble our lantern instalment. Out little school has some lovely bushland beside it and the children go in there at lunch time and play and built huts from sticks and tarps and have given it a nice little name. Every winter for the Winter Solstice all the classes and families make lanterns and the school community get together and have a dinner followed by enjoyment of the creativity on a night walk. Some instalments are absolutely amazing and the whole school loves the night. After we collected our instalment we went on a tour of an historic house and then had three runs through the maze before heading off to Wilton* to complete the final finds of the WLS -Wollongong Lighthouse Series a fantastic and busy day.
