Gifford, the Christmas Moose, would love to roam the forests of the world. He especially likes to have his picture taken while hanging from a tree. At Christmas time he longs to be in a cozy home, watching children open presents from his perch in the branches.

Gifford takes his name from the Gifford Pinchot National Forest in Washington, where he was released into the world. He started out in the Big Lava Bed, north of Carson.

Took Gifford on a lovely walk round a series of caches near Polesden Lacey in Surrey (England) on a beautiful and remarkably hot October day. Sadly he was too big to fit in any of the caches but we took a photo of him near one of the caches (GC2YFQQ) anyway. Will try to find a bigger cache soon...
