Current Goal

The twentysix Colored Turtle's first mission is to spread out all over the world. I.e. their first aim is that each one gets to a separate continent, or at least to separate countries. To make the mission easier we in this context divide the world in more continents than usual six (Africa, America, Antarctica, Asia, AustralAsia, and Europe). "Our" 10 continents are:

1) Europe, 2) North America, 3) South America, 4) Africa, 5) Australia and New Zealand, 6) AustralAsia (except 5), 7) Middle East (Asia), 8) Far East (Asia), 9) North East (ex USSR, Europe and Asia), 10) Antartica.

The most efficiant way to spread out is to do giant jumps between caches in different parts of the world, but because turtles normally are slow, also small steps are welcome, as long as they move frequently.

About This Item

Red Big Turtle

The twentysix Colored Turtles are groups of identical (except for the color) objects that have different objectives at different times.

Their planned objectives are:

1) (current) Spread out all over the world.

2) (future) Meet occationally (two or more) in the same geocache.

3) (distant future) All return home to their birth place, Ladispoli, Italy

The members of the Colored Turtle family are:

The Silver Turtles Red Turtle, Dark Red Turtle, Blue Turtle, Turquoise Turtle, Green Turtle, Dark Green Turtle, Black Turtle, White Turtle, Yellow Turtle, the Multicolor Turtle triplets 1, 2 and 3, the Gold Turtles Yellow Golden Turtle, Blue Golden Turtle, White Golden Turtle #1, White Golden Turtle #2, Golden MultiColor Turtle, Golden Brown Marbled Turtle, and the smaller Sea Turtles Yellow Golden Sea Turtle, White Sea Turtle, Golden White Sea Turtle, Red Sea Turtle, Red-White Sea Turtle, Black-White Sea Turtle

Note that the price of the object (the turtle) is only €1 while its tag costs €6. So please do not dispose of the tag even if the turtle has gone missing. The mission of eventual empty tags (without its turtle) is to immediately return to its owners cache (Casa Troll in Ladispoli - Italy, or anywhere in the Rome area), or better, that you attach some kind of new turtle to it and upload a picture of its new identity.

The Red Big Turtle has been cloned after it went missing when it was retrieved from the geocache "Bush Shelter for a zoo of animal" in Australia by the inexperienced and unresponsive geocacher superblazer420JC over a year ago.
The statistics are not at all good - of our 30 turtle TB's released in the period 2015-2017 only two (2) originals are still well and healthy, and we have already done a total of 36 turtle replacements.
The cloned Red Big Turtle is now ready to be picked up and start its new journey again out in the big geocaching world.

We are bringing the lost (in the hands of the single-day-player superblazer420) Red Big Turtle's spirit home from Australia to be cloned and ready for new Geocaching adventures.
