Current Goal

Sauron's School Bus has two missions:
1) DONE! Sauron's School Bus wants to travel to the "Lord of the Rings #10- Mordor" cache (GC6347) located in Utah. DONE!!
2) Once #1 is done, come back to Oregon City, Oregon.

Ready to go!

After having the ONE RING destroyed, Sauron was pretty down and out. So he got an old school bus for an extended road trip. However, he needs to make his way back to Mordor to pick up a few things. After getting to Mordor, he'll need to get back to Portland to pick up his traveling partner, Shelob.

SSB made it to Mordor! Now he is on the way to Oregon City, OR!

Please take a photo of where SSB visits as he goes to and from Mordor!

I wish I could have been on this bus!! It's been to some pretty wonderful places.

I'm going to take it with me to one of my very favorite places and hopefully send it back on its way to Oregon.

This may just be the best travelled schoolbus in history! Unfortunately Sauron seems to have lost his way, perhaps taking a wrong turn at the Pacific while lost in deep contemplation of his next attempt to rule the world; hey, it happens to the best of us!

I'll have to hang onto the little fellow for a few weeks, but it just so happens that I'm wandering over to Illinois. It's not quite Oregon, but at least he'll be back on the right continent!

  • Saruman's Replacement Being in South Australia has not stopped Sauron collecting evil-doers in all shapes and sizes to his cause!
  • Making Mordor Look Good Those from well watered climes might say the terrain around Renmark bares some resemblance to Mordor itself. Amongst this fairly dry region, however, runs Australia's largest and most famous river; the Murray supports an amazing abundance of flora and fauna, as well as well over 1/2 of Australia's irrigated Agriculture.
