About This Item

This travel bug is in honour of my father-in-law, Roy Marks, who died a couple of years back. Roy wants to travel from his home town of Hurstpierpoint in England, visit every country in the British Isles, then to Germany, where Roy served after WW2, and on to Australia, where he settled in the 1950s.

I retrieved it with my mother and sister when i was on a short visit in the uk as i am a rsm in the royal engineers stationed in germany...i will now take it back to germany with me and place in a cache there...thankyou for a great cache...spencer363
