Will move this along. I was in scouting to the rank of Life. As an adult I spent about 7 years as an Assistant Scoutmaster.
A lot of good memories!!! Thanks for putting this travel bug out and promoting the "Boy Scouts of America" a fine organization for our youth.

I did go through cub scouts for a short period, then boy scouts for a while. I only reached second class. We moved, and I never got active again. Instead, I got into amateur rocketry and almost blew up our neighborhood. I think they have a merit badge for rocketry these days. It probably would have served me well to have gone through that program. If I have something scout-related, I'll append it to the ring. Either way, I'll get this guy scouting along soon.

Couldn't pass without picking this one up. Currently I am a Star Scout in Troop 233(of about 50 boys) on the verge to reach Life rank, then of course Eagle one of these days.In the past month or two our troop has had over Nine Eagle Scout Court of Honors. Scouting has been a big part of life not only for me but my family also. My grandpa long ago used to be a scout then eventually turning into a scoutmaster, helping my uncle reach his Eagle rank. Both of my cousins (my uncle sons) reached the Eagle rank years later also.Hope one of these days I'll fly with Eagles too. Thanks to see such a bug going around. Will do a good turn and try to keep it moving as soon as possible. Thanks again!
