Current Goal

This TB would like to travel to New York and have his picture taken at the site of Ground Zero, home of The World Trade Center. Along the way he would like to visit fire stations and have his picture taken with different types of firefighting equipment and/or personal.

About This Item

This Travel Bug is in tribute to the 343 Firefighters and over 3000 others killed in the 9/11 World Trade Center attack. Take a moment and reflect back on the day so many lifes were lost and how so many others were affected by that tragic day.

One of the travelbugs we picked up in our roadtrip from Los Angeles to Arizona, through the Grand Canyon, up to Utah, through Nevada, and back to Los Angeles.

We grabbed a bunch of travelbugs and divided them up at the end of the trip.

We found this one on Sept. 20th when we were just learning about geocaching. Now we will try to hide it by the first of the year somewhere in the Palm Springs area. It has taken a nice trip to Illinois and now in California.
