In A.A. Milne’s immortal Winnie-the-Pooh, Pooh invents a game: Pooh sticks. The object of the game is to drop a stick off the upstream side of a bridge then hurry to the downstream side to see whose stick appears first.
My family plays this game at every opportunity.
This Christmas, Santa brought me a Pooh stick Travel Bug. My brother, sister and I are going to have a Pooh stick race to a cache near our cousin’s home in Virginia. The stick that travels the most miles in the shortest amount of time wins. The winner will be determined by dividing the number of miles traveled by the number of days on the road. The Pooh stick with the highest average miles per day wins.
Please help me beat my little brother and little sister by taking me closer to the Williamsport, in central PA.
