This Travel Bug is Entered in The USA to UK Travel Bug Race

A few local GeoCachers have got together to run a Travel Bug Race.

The Bugs have been released by “Honeychile” in North Carolina in the USA.

The object of the race is for Bugs to get back to the ' Farley Mount Highwayman' cache in the UK as soon as possible.

The status of participating Bugs can be found on the Leaderboard.

There needs to be some rules, and here they are:

  1. Bugs must be logged into at least one other cache in the USA (After initial release)
  2. The Travelbug racer must be placed in at least 5 caches by at least 5 different GeoCachers
  3. The Travelbug may not travel by post at any stage of the race
  4. Virtual & Locationless caches may not be used
  5. Travel Bugs must visit at least one country other than the USA and England (Scotland , Ireland or Wales WILL count as another country)
  6. Substitute Travelbugs may replace lost or stolen bugs but must recommence the journey from North Carolina USA
  7. Travel Bugs should finish the race in ' The Farley Mount Highwayman!'
  8. Only one Travel Bug may be entered per Team
  9. In the event of a tie, the bug which travels the greatest distance will be the winner

Picked it up at the Travel Bug hotel and will take to Charleston, SC when we go on vacation in less than 2 weeks. Hopefully it will have a good shot at getting picked up by an international traveler down there!! In the meanwhile he will rest and visit with the K-9's!

Could not help Eddie along in the race, so I will leave him in the TB Bed & Breakfast.
