Take the hike described on the card, post a minimum of ten pictures from the hike (only one can include the members of the party) and earn an IowaBeaver Personal Geocoin!
This is a one time opportunity. Here are the complete rules to obtain the IowaBeaver personal coin:
1. You must complete the hike as described on the card. If you want to pass the card into a geocache instead of taking the hike, please feel free to do so.
2. A complete report on how it went is required. A note stating "I walked the walk" is not enough.
3. A minimum of ten pictures must be downloaded with your report.
4. Once the required log has been received, then I will contact you for an address to mail the coin to. If you want to spin the geocaching roulette, then I can drop it into an Iowa cache and you can watch it make it's way towards you. At least until someone steals it!
5. An adoption of the coin will need to be accomplished. The coin is currently activated under my ID (IowaBeaver) and matches the tracking code on the small laminated card.
6. Once the hike has been completed and the log filed, then you may keep the card as a token of your hike. Do not put the card back out in a geocache or pass it along to a friend. This is a one time opportunity and expires once the required hike is completed.
