We hoped to find some interesting, out of the way, place for Shoot to visit, but just too cold here for exploring. 😴 We did take him to the Battle Road in Concord - part of the Lex/Conc Nat. Hist. park that is chock full of sites Shoot could visit 😎 (in better weather).
We placed Shoot in the Clara Barton Lives On Cache -- think that is Oxford, MA. Site of birth and burial of C. Barton, founder of American Red Cross. C. Barton was active during the Civil War (and a few wars after that), not the Rev. War, but we thought a moment out to think of caring for injured and dying soldiers would somehow counter-balance Shoot's facination with Battle Fields. 👍
