Acquired to celebrate the day I scored 56 caches in one day on the 3rd August,2016. This came about by walking part of the Miserden Monster (100 caches in all) plus some associated caches along the route. Mrs C was visiting her friend in Swansea which left me to do mad things. Covered about 16 miles in the end and broke my PB for steps - some 34,000 plus in the end.
I had achieved 47 caches on a trip over to Bath where Mrs C was staying but failed to get that illusive 48th. That was on the 12th July 2014.
For the record, the 48th cache WAS GC6CW2F - #44 Miserden Monster, a traditional cache.
Now, is it possible to get 72 in 24 hours - watch this space
