Acquired to celebrate the day I scored 103 caches (out of 105) in one day on the 30th August, 2018. The intention had been to go for 72 finds but I somehow miscalculated or just got carried away! The total came about by walking the middle and southern loop of the GCW (The Great Cotswold Walk, 130 caches in all) series plus some associated caches along the route. Mrs C usually visits her friend in Swansea during the summer which allows me to do mad things. However, she was unable to do this this year but after a conflab I was permitted to take the Geo-spaniel for a decent walk. Covered about 17 miles in the end on the walk and discovered I'd done 99 caches out of 101 when i reached the end. This left only one option! Find at least one more which turned into four and thus the total of 103 finds.
For the record, the 72nd cache was GC4AXND - GCW #9, a traditional cache.
