  • Ernie and the Golden Gate Bridge Ernie is in a pensive mood as he rests on a jetty in San Francisco's Marina district. San Francisco Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge behind him recall the adventures and excitement he has enjoyed in the big city. But he is actually looking to the northeast toward Alcatraz Island. The stark edifice of the prison in such a beautiful setting reminds him that he must once again be shut up within a geocache, if only to be soon released to experience freedom and adventure once again.
