Have you met our founder, Boney Jack? Boney Jack has a long history steeped in mysterious events and it is said that at any major historical event you will find him lurking in the background. From dressing the wounds of 1066 soldiers at the battle of Hastings to holding Florence Nightingale’s lantern Boney Jack has done it all! Said to be the royal physician of King Henry 8th, Boney Jack learnt to treat his patients on the job and here at the clinic he passes on that knowledge to our therapists. His good friend Winston Churchill taught Jack the techniques of Pilates and he now enjoys attending the sessions Louise holds here at the clinic. During his younger years, Boney Jack took a gap year to study Tantras meditation in the Indus Valley of India and Pakistan, and he has been known to be seen standing in the window practicing these on Market Day. He even tells a tale of challenging Ghandi to a staring match and winning when a gust of wind blew his robes into his eyes. Boney Jack gets on with everyone young and old that come into the clinic but rumours have circled about uncharacteristic arguments with the late Sigmund Freud. His one and only enemy! We are honoured to have Boney Jack here at the clinic and without his wisdom, years of knowledge and excellent sense of humour we don’t know what we would do!
