Goodbye Bob, unfortunately you were grabbed before I could drop you off correctly. It’s time to let you go and I hope I’ve found you a seat on a plane that can get you closer to your goal. I’ve given up on finding a Canadian cacher but I’ve found you the next best thing. It’s the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II today. You spent it geocaching in Ealing and ending up at an event in a cosy pub in Hammersmith. Good luck! 🛂

It’s not everyday you get to see dinosaurs and prehistoric animals while Geocaching but today was your lucky day. The Crystal Palace Park animals were constructed in 1853-1855 and represent the first ever attempt anywhere in the world to model extinct animals as full-scale, three-dimensional, active creatures from fossil remains. We now know some of the details are incorrect but you can imagine how they would have seemed to promenading Victorians. 🦕
