Lorriebird was kind enough to let me grab this TB so I could place it in CANZ: Auckland. What a story of it going missing and subsequent rescue! If only it had a record button, we could have figured out how it got from Florida to Texas.

Hooray!!!!!! My poor little lost Lorriepod has found it's way home after having been missing for almost 4 YEARS!!!!!

Amazing how things work out, but after all this time a geocacher spotted it in a cache near San Antonio, Texas and discovered it but didn't realize that it had disappeared years earlier. He wrote to me a note about seeing it along with its location. ...and by pure coincidence (!) my sweet in-laws were on a long road trip and planning to drive right near that location the very next day! 😮 What are the odds?

Well, the Lorriepod was rescued from a container full of water, cleaned up and personally delivered home to me (photo posted). How cool is that?

Not sure how I feel about sending the little guy back out into the wild again, but I'm sure I'll soon relent and let him continue his travels.

*The Lorriepod was the very first iPod I ever owned. It now has a second life as a travel bug and still continues to bring me joy. 😁
