A sad walk. Two days after Chip went over the rainbow bridge. No nose work class tonight, so I brought Mika and Hina to walk in the hilly part of the park. I haven't been able to walk them in places like this with Chip's health, so it was bittersweet to be able to do so. A lovely location in a beautiful park.
Here for an evening walk with the dogs. Chip enjoyed riding in the stroller after the first part of the walk. The last time I was here, the only two cars in the parking lot nearby had people in them facing GZ. Today, there was no one nearby. I got to use my TOTT and quickly signed the log.
My first time here! Waiting for a friend to arrive and find parking, waiting for some people to finish smoking... then a wait for a break in traffic to make a stealthy grab. For all the parked cars around, there are very few people walking around.
This was hard to find until today. It kept going missing, or maybe I didn't go far enough along, or I went too far? Hina would sit and refuse to move since I was looking, so I was not able to range very far to find this. Success finally!
A short walk with the dogs. Chip did not want to walk far... :-( I swear I looked here before, but didn't find it until today.
I originally thought of going to Fairview Park, but I realized there was a small park nearby with a geocache that I had never been to. Explored a bit in the dark with the dogs and then found this!
Stopped by for a short evening walk. It was dark so it was hard to see how big the park was, but the hide was near a whole lot of acorns in Acorn Park!
I thought I had looked here before, but ... I finally found it today. I still don't know what the cache title means...
Made it to Henderson, Nevada and to Sunset Park! This is my second time to this enormous park - this time we checked out the lake.
