Since we head back to Deering NH late April 2006, Deerwood should make it to Squam Lake by August. We were just by there during foliage trip, too bad we didn't have him/her then. Would like to introduce Deerwood to the two pair of loons who inhabit our lake each summer before heading to Squam.

Deerwwood Loon is ready to start heading North to Squam Lake again and I could not think of a better cache than Lehigh Mafia's N.E.E.M. Christmas Time GeoBash 2005. Deerwood Loon is not in a big hurry, but would just like to get to Squam Lake by middle of the summer 2006. -- Pittsburgh Transplant --

Deerwood Loon only made a short stay at Pinesolved to signify my 500th find at PaPa&Nonna's cache. Deerwood will return to Naples to start his journey North again. -- Pittsburgh Transplant --

The Deerwood Loon Clone is alive and on the move again. He is on his way to Pittsburgh, PA and then back to Naples, FL where he will start his journey North to Squam Lake again, but this time to a different cache. Yard Bird still has not made it to Squam Lake. -- Pittsburgh Transplant --

A clone of Deerwood Loon has been born at the location where the original Deerwood loon was taken by mugglers. I am using the copy dog tag to keep this Travel Bug alive and on the move.

  • Pittsburgh Transplant and The Deerwood Loon Clone The Deerwood Loon is reborn and ready to continue his journey.
  • Deerwood Loon Clone at Squam Lake Bridge Plaque The loon is now alive and well and ready to move on. Hope he does not run into more mugglers.

Well, that does it for me with Travel Bugs. Between approvers not approving my caches and people stealing Travel Bugs, Geocaching is not as much fun as it once was. I will stick with looking for caches and that will do it for me. Thanks to everyone that helped Deerwood Loon get to his final destination on Little Squam, I just did not think it would be his final resting place. -- Pittsburgh Transplant --

Seems that this TB has gone missing from the Squam River Covered Bridge cache. Someone made a mess of everything and any TB's that were in the cache are no longer there. The zip-lock bag for this TB was there, but no TB. Sorry some people have to ruin things.
