We decided to park at the Pharmacy down the street. It also gave us the chance to buy a cold drink while pondering how to reach the cache. AuntieNae with the hootie hoo. AuntieNae from Milwaukee WI, with TamCo in Illinois today. This was our 3rd of the 3 caches located in this neat forest area. We crossed the creek very easily with the water down to a trickle. The hint lead to a clever marker almost an x marks the spot cache. We recognized the pen in this cache from the Pen Cache in New Berlin WI, too funny they have traveled this far. AuntieNae in Illinois with TamCo today. This was our second of three caches in this beautiful wooded nature preserve. We parked along the road, weedwacking our way into the BINGO cache nearby, then crossed the creek over to this cache. All in all, this cache is located an old forest with towering trees, with little ground brush. The first waypoint had us going in circles, until we went back to the first gross place we had searched. It could not be there .. yep, TamCo with the hootie hoo. On to the cache, we followed the trails, passing a huge very old tree, that was absolutely a sight worth seeing. The sunlight was shining down on it almost as a spotlight. AuntieNae with the hootie hoo on the final.
