Current Goal

Garfield has started to play tennis and his aim is to get to the Australian Open. Please help him on his way as he needs a lot of practice. His owner - DS8300 - will be in Australia in Feb 2005 and hopes to meet him there to greet him as the winner!

About This Item

2012-01-05 DS8300 visited NZ again. (Needs to get his act together if he's going to meet up with Garfield at the Australian Open).
2011-01-05 DS8300 visited NZ again but missed out on the trip to Melbourne.
2010-05-30 DS8300 paid a visit to Sydney but of course Garfield had gone off galavanting up in the hills, probably with a bottle or two of good Ozzie wine, so no chance to hook-up with Garfield this time either.
2010-02-07 DS8300 made it down to New Zealand again but had to miss a trip to Australia and a possible hook-up with Garfield. At least 218 caches and a few TB's were found.
2009-01-23 This is the first time in several years that DS8300 has not travelled down under and of course this it the year that Garfield decided to get his finger out and play tennis at the Austrlian Open. I guess I will have to travel down again in 2010 and hope that Garfield is still hanging around somewhere in Australia or New Zealand.
2008-02-12 DS8300 returned downunder to meet with Garfield but yet again he wasn't there so a geocaching holiday was spent in NZ, this time baggin 186 caches. More fun than not playing tennis with Garfield.
2007-03-16 DS8300 spent some time in NZ at the beginning of the year finding 140 caches (it's more fun geocaching than playing tennis with Garfield). So now it seems, I will have to visit Sydney in 2008. Great!!
2006-07-24 Garfield's sense of direction isn't spot on but South Africa is a fantastic place for big cats. Anyway, DS8300 will visit the Australian Open in 2007 so Garfield still has a chance to get his act together.
2005-05-30 Garfield slept most of the time he should have been training and missed the trip to Australia. His owner has given him another chance as he will visit the Australia Open in Jan 2006. Garfield has to get his act together. Thanks for the reminder Lilla Freja.
