This is Night Tortoise 15 of my mini power trail night series. I finished the last of these yesterday evening/ night and ofcourse my picked up hitchhikers tagged along with my Gordie and were along for the ride! this hides have taken me longer than i planed to get placed and up and running. a lot of hiccups along the way with this series!!! Between planning and placing problems due to my phones GPS not wanting to cooperate, running out of daylight in a sketchy desert riddled with unsavory squatter types (to put it nicely) always out and about, looking for the next opportunity for a "come up", to re-breaking my recently, fractured pinky finger that never healed right after surgery, riding a bike out to do this series was a mission! trying to not eat it in soft sand, while one handed, trying to juggle a phone, and backpack full of caches only to find out i put one in the wrong placement, which got two of them denied. Then trying to get my girlfriends brand new car out there, talking her through how to hit the trails so she wouldnt get stuck in soft sand, or mess her car up, while trying to map out the hides and log them all at the same time. then to forget a major key to the last cache hide of the series! lol SHEESH!!! Thankfully the awesome King of FTF out here had my back and helped me fix my errors while out doing what he does best! Big shout out to our infamous W0lf for all his help!

hit this CCC power trail cache since its right by night time mini power trail series i just finished today. (which i will be logging visits for, since my hitchhikers all ride along with me :).) this cache is at the end of my series and somewhere in the middle of the CCC power trail series, they meet at the fence line for our Desert Tortoise Reserve, which is the theme of my series, so i took a nice picture to share at the fence and sign posted about our Mojave Desert tortoises habitat line. :)

This was a good one!
Just after State Line (back into California, from Nevada) What an awesomely crazy, random, fun trip this has been! on the way out to the cache site, i couldnt help but rock hound just a bit lol. something caught my eye and i was curious as to weather i just found a cool mineral or something. in the back of my head, and even said out loud right before i went to grab it up, in the dark... it looked like poop... sure enough, thats what it was 😂🤣.
welp, i guess it happens, sometimes. lol.
we also couldnt help but think what a great, under used TB Hotel this cache is! doesnt seem to get the recognition it should. TB underdog, for sure! i wish i had a favorite point to give to this one.
oh and did i mention the view?! well thats pretty awesome as well. gotta love a great cache in a great spot with a great view!
