2016 - What a Year!!

LOVE this cache!
we have had a wild and fun trip full of randomness at every turn! coming home with a dog that was bought for 100 dollars... i think we got so jipped but shes cute! prolly saved this dog from a sketchy life as well, so thats good. i rebroke my fractured pinky finger, right at the spiral break while rock hounding in the WetLands... still need to get that checked out 😬. did some gambling, had fun but didnt win anything. (thats okay though) been Logging Smiles and Adding Miles this whole trip, every chance we get.

Made a stop to grab a new smile, check on xAngeex's cache at the seven magic mountains rocks and to let this new puppy we got take a potty break since we have no idea the last time she went, and shes been crying like she has to go....we had no luck... and her harness doesnt fit, she doesnt like it, and shes not good on a leash so she almost got out and ran away. its been a mission!! we can swear this dog has a green tint to its fur... hopefully its just the sun setting playing tricks on our eyes... lol what a eventful random trip to Vegas this has been! still have about three hours of drive left till we get home!

We were about to make our trip back to California until a random series of events happend. A mystery lamp post cache that we stumbled on while giving a ride to a lady we met with her husband outside of our room this evening. They had puppies and we just had to say hi! 100 dollars for a puppy, a ride to the auto parts store (to help them get their car running again) and added another smile to our maps! Guess we are going home blowing money on the last thing we would have expected to spend it on in Las Vegas!

got just far enough from the road and the smell hit me, something is dead around here. did a quick scan with the flashlight to make sure we werent walking into something unpleasant, but didnt see anything. kept walking and xAngeex almost walked into a dead kitty... poor thing. was too long dead to be the smell though... kinda creepy. idk what else is dead out here 😬.
