Gabby's Cache in Trash Out Trackable

For this CITO trackable to encourage more geocachers to keep our environment clean, as it travels around the world.

RE-RELEASED AS A PROXY AGAIN ON 2/10/22 AFTER GOING MISSING FROM A CACHE WHERE IT HAD BEEN PLACED OVER 17 MONTHS AGO.  IT HAD TRAVELED ABOUT 623 ADDITIONAL MILES SINCE THE LAST PROXY WAS ISSUED BEFORE IT WENT MISSING NEAR STRAWBERRY, ARIZONA!!

RE-RELEASED AS A PROXY ON 10/27/19 AFTER BEING INACTIVE FOR ALMOST 1.5 YEARS.  IT HAD TRAVELED OVER 5,165 MILES BEFORE IT BECAME INACTIVE IN ORO VALLEY, ARIZONA!!

This CITO Trackable was initially set free by Gabby Venezia in Flagstaff, Arizona, who wants it to encourage more geocachers to keep our environment clean, as it travels around the world.

Cache In Trash Out® (CITO) is an environmental initiative supported by the geocaching community. Since 2002, CITO has helped preserve the natural beauty of cache-friendly spaces. In that time, more than 363,000 people have volunteered at 18,000 CITO events.

Twice per year, geocachers can earn virtual souvenirs by hosting and attending events during CITO seasons. Visit the Help Center for information on the next CITO season.

Attend CITO Events

At CITO events, geocachers and community groups work together to improve parks and other outdoor environments. They clean up litter, plant trees, remove invasive species, build trails, and more.

Host CITO Events

To host an event, contact a land manager, local organization, or government agency to determine your community’s needs. Make sure to get permission for your project.
