As Team Milestone met up about 8am this morning we set off on our journey to Jonah's Journey to get that all important milestone, Mine was 2k in less than a year. What a great day. The weather is cold and frosty. This made for some great photos.
Aladdin Sane went down First for 4K, I went down Second for 2K and Alfreton Diver went third for 2.2K followed by various members of the team. Nice quick find was we finally arrived at GZ. SL as Team Milestone and replaced as found. TFTC (replaced bag for the log book). Thanks you everyone that attended.

Last day of hiking for the year. The temperatures have dropped and the wind is really blowing. You are going around the Isle of Portland and then trying to get the train at Weymouth but may need to get a bus. 🌬

Made it to the Isle of Portland. Very breezy walking across the bridge that runs parallel to Chesil Beach. Strange place but I enjoyed the harbour with the ships and colourful kite surfers. ⛵️

Day 3 on the SWCP, Abbotsbury to the Isle of Portland. Walked along the Fleet for some time with an eye on the building clouds. Our luck couldn’t last and we got hit by a heavy rain burst. 🌧

Day 2 of the SWCP, West Bay to Abbotsbury. Finished the cliff walking and now down onto Chesil Beach, the longest Barrier Beach in the UK I think. Lots of rocks. 🏖

You’ve finished this day on the South West Coast Path at West Bay. For me, it means I’ve walked 891km of it. Great sunset causing the sea cliffs to glow golden. If you watched the TV show Broadchurch, it’s this beach and cliff that you saw. 🎥

After your day of relaxed fossil hunting yesterday, it’s time for some hard work on the South West Coast Path. There are some sea cliffs to climb ahead of us. Low tide at Lyme Regis so you are walking to Charmouth along the beach again. ⚒
