About This Item

EarthDog Patrick

This TB was released in the wild on 5/6/06 at the Indiana Spring Picnic at Salamonie River State Forest in Wabash County . Patrick is convinced that the only chance he has of meeting the elusive “Precious” is to try to get to her himself . So Team Tigger International made him a TB. They also made a ~Mystery Dog~ TB and these two bugs have the common goal of Coming together again and have many adventures. The idea is to spend time traveling from cache to cache meeting when they can and then traveling some more.

Earthdog Patrick is a five-year-old geocaching Jack Russell Terrier with his own GC.com account.

So sorry for not getting this logged sooner. We have been gone, visiting family in Tennessee. I am sending it to Michigan with my friend on the 25th of this month.

The following email was sent to Golden Oldies who have not, as yet, activated their gc.com account.

Hello there!

You logged one of my caches recently in honor of Earthdog Patrick. His travel bug, which looks like a paperweight with a Jack Russel Terrier in it, is not in the cache box. The others who have logged this cache said they did not take it.

If you took the travel bug, would you please log it, as the owners, Team Tigger International, are concerned about it. Then you may place it in any other cache big enough to hold it.

If you live in the area of where the travel bug was and just do not want to bother with logging it, would you please return it so that someone else can move it along on it's journey?

Please let me know if you have the travel bug and when you think you might be moving it so that I can let Team Tigger know.

Thank you so much...Che K

This TB is missing. It was not in A Doggone Cache! today, and Graysons reported it missing also. That leaves just Buddaman or Golden Oldies as having taken it and not logged it. Golden Oldies have not logged a smilie on the cache altho they signed the log book...

Only one place to drop this TB...in the cache celebrating Patrick's 300th log. Was gonna take it to Martha's Vineyard with me next week, but people on the island wouldn't appreciate who Patrick is and what he means to Indiana geocaching. This cache will be submitted as soon as Patrick logs his 299th cache...and Lead Dog told me that could be this weekend!

What an awesome TB! Of course I mistook it for my GPSr after placing it in my pocket and had to go back to the cache site to find my Magellan, which I had left on the ground!

TB is going into a cache I will be placing this weekend in honor of...who else?...Earthdog Patrick!
