Thought this would be a good place for White Bear. It's a very nice place with [green]green[/green] all around nestled between two lush valleys. A bear could feel right at home here. This is not an overly difficult cache to get to so he should be moving on soon.

This Geocoin is traveling from cache to cache with me on the Big Island of Hawaii. Another great day of caching in Hawaii. Hanging with my friends turning new people onto Geocaching on a beautiful sunny day on the Big Island of Hawaii. It would be tough to find a more beautiful place to cache. This cache was appropriately named for the Ironwood Trees were the cache was hidden. The Ironwood tree or (She Oak) is a sturdy hardwood tree that was introduced to Hawaii in the 1800's as a windbreak and to stabilize the soil and prevent corrosion. There were enough trees around that I thought that White Bear would not feel too exposed.

This Geocoin is traveling around the Big Island of Hawaii. Another great day of caching in Hawaii. Geocaching on a beautiful sunny day on the Big Island of Hawaii. It would be tough to find a more beautiful place to cache. Once I switched from follow road to off road this was a quick and easy find. So green and lush here 2000ft up, such a difference from the lava fields at sea level. It was green enough and forest like I thought it would make a nice stop for the bear.
