Current Goal

To travel all over the world.  Her plan was to make a visit to Alaska.  A stop there would be nice.

About This Item

On July 11, 2017, our sister Lanette passed away suddenly.  This was a great shock to her 7 siblings, and to her husband of 2-1/2 years.  Lanette went into the hospital on a Saturday, her dog died on Sunday, then she died on Tuesday, and the closing on their new house was to happen on Friday.  So in less than a week, her husband lost his wife, her dog, and the house where they were going to grow old together.  

Our family is made up of a lot of geocachers, and she was the latest one to join the ranks.  Her geocaching name was wblgirl&cog.  She was wblgirl (White Bear Lake girl), and cog was her husband, the crabby old goat!  She was fearless when looking for a cache, and particularly loved solving puzzle caches.  The last log she ever made was a co-FTF on July 4, a week before her death.

She and her husband planned to travel after she retired, particularly to Alaska.  She cannot do that anymore, but her husband and siblings can watch this trackable do the traveling for her.
