Officially the largest travel bug I've personally ever seen, so it is appropriate for it to reside for awhile in the "World's Largest..." for a little while! Awesome - thanks for bringing it to visit!

We had to take this one as einstein 1 loves trains and the railroad. He had the perfect job the he loved consulting for the railroad before my health problems made him reconsider his being away from home. We are glad to have him home but I know he misses his trains. Thanks so much for sharing this tb and letting him have a little more time with the railroad.

Interesting TB. I've been to the place in Utah where the "Golden Spike" was placed (which was kind of disappointing because the track had been pulled up many years ago so all that's there now is a re-creation).

I have no idea how it got here, but we found this in a cache in Raleigh today - more than 100 miles away from it's last reported location. I'll drop it in the cache we found it in for history/mileage purposes, then move it elsewhere. Interesting TB. It might be the second heaviest I've ever had. (I think the full-size bowling pin we had two years ago was a little heavier.)
