About This Item

Delicate Arch

We love visiting National Parks. Every
year we try to visit a new park. We have
been to every one in Utah and enjoy their
beauty. There is not enough time in a
lifetime to visit them all. Hopefully
DELICATE ARCH will travel to
many that we will miss.
We would love any pictures of the parks
on its travels.

Found it in Maine by a natural fjord, but it is on its way again. Now, shall it be left by a mountain stream or the roaring thunder of an ocean swell? Silverschucker

As luck would have it, Delicate Arch was found by Silverschucker, the First Mate aboard MS Sandpiper. Having made a necessary trip back to Silverschucker's home in Indiana, Delicate Arch is now a stowaway aboard MS Sandpiper. The photo was taken in the Great Bridge Lock, Great Bridge, VA, the only lock on the Atlantic Intercoastal Waterway. Sandpiper is heading south for the winter and will find a new, appropriate cache for Delicate Arch.
