Current Goal

The challenge of this bug is for cachers to help him travel around, and to get him into strange and unusual situations. Don't forget to post pictures!

About This Item

This bug was once a beloved childhood toy called Omnibot. When I was a kid in the late 70's - early 80's, this was a really technologically advanced toy. I recently tried to refurbish it for my daughter, with zero success. The next best thing I could think of was a travel bug. Keep in mind, this is a HUGE travel bug (see pictures below). In some situations it may be best to leave him near the cache, rather than in it. If you do this, make sure to hide him a bit, so that he doesn't give away the cache location. This would be a good bug to trade at cache events, etc. Have fun with him.

CacheBot went down to D.C., but couldn't find a good place to stay, so brought him back up to Central PA and passed him on to Peachy PA at the Purdue Mtn. CITO event (see picture).

Noticed this guy all twisted up in some vines and being terroized by phantom wolves. Decided to hoist him up on my back and rescue him on this very rainy night. I'm still picking leaves from him, but I know exactly where he needs to go. An actual cache that he will fit in! There he can relax for awhile all safe and out of the elements.

Kinda like a cacheBot Club Med!

CacheBot 9000 would not fit in the small beaded evening bag I wore to this cache, so I left him there. He was saying how he wished he had a comfy orange plush chair to sit on ...
