The Devil's KEY

Hello, thanks for finding me. Please read my story in order to make an informed decision to collect me or not. If you have already picked me, then follow the instructions carefully how to handle the situation in order to avoid catastrophic consequences.

Probably long time ago I had a home, the owner and a lock that I fit. Now it is all long gone. I have been traveling generation to generation without really any purpose or meaning of me. I was not thrown away just because I appeared weird and in a way too 'pretty' to end up in a bin. I was handed to my last owner by a grandmother who said it was 'magic' and used to unlock the front gate of a spelled castle, the chest of treasures and all kinds of funny childish stuff. As the owner grew up, he soon learned nothing of that was probably true, but was witty enough to turn me into a gift to someone's heart. I felt so happy that I finally fit to unlock one more lock in my life. However it all ended up very badly. Just recently my owner realized that there must be some curse cast on me - I can't stay at any home for too long as I end up bringing bad luck, breaking lives and families (now that I think back, all of my owners had broken homes eventually). So it would be best if you don't bring me home, but drop off in another safe cache (it has to be a cache you haven't yet found and the cache I haven't been in before) to make sure I keep continuously traveling (or resting somewhere in peace) in order to keep the negative energy busy and prevent from attacking people. Bad energies are fed with speed, anxiety and rush. Best places for me are forests, abandoned buildings and non-inhabited regions.

Now if you brought me home, keep calm. I realize what you have learned about me sounds shocking and if you knew all that before, you probably would have never picked me up. Now your best step is to take me as far from the cache I was in as possible, best to another city or even country. Make sure it is not a cache I was in previously, or a cache that you have already found before.

Do not attempt to destroy me, as destruction calls for more destruction and in case of my disappearance bad things will happen to you and everyone who have ever held this key in their hands and are still alive. So there is a lot of responsibility on a person who holds me. So keep me safe and stay safe.
