About This Item

Hello, my name is Orosco. I am a poison dart frog. My mission is to stay in Minnesota and eventually return to my native area the "Frogtown" Neighborhood of St. Paul, Minnesota. Thank you and Good Luck... The Frogtown Area of St. Paul, Minnesota gained it's name because much of the area was very low lying ground and in the late 1800's was prepared in such a manner that homes were able to be constructed. They backfilled swamps and the frogs never went away. The home that the owners family lives in is circa 1895 and this is not uncommon. I picked the orange toad up on the Oregon Coast and discovered he's FAR AWAY from home! This weekend I'll be traveling to Kooskia Idaho for my aunt's memorial service so I'll help him get much closer to Montana!
