About This Item

Am partan

Am Partan is Scottish Gaelic for "the crab". This poor crab has been caught in a cage - please don't try to remove him as you could hurt him. Instead please help him on his mission.

He will be set free on his travels from a cache on the island of North Uist where the Gaelic language is still spoken.

His travel tag shows the flag of the Western Isles of Scotland of which North Uist is one. The crab cage with crab inside is a Christmas tree ornament that we bought when visiting our son in Hawaii.

Took this little guy on a ride from Chesapeake bay Maryland. Dropped off in large container in Provincetown dunes. The mayflower landed in PTown before heading to Plymouth. The tip of cape is surrounded by water
with beautiful views
and rich with history.

We picked this trackable up at Geowoodstock because ANYONE who lives in Maryland is going to immediately grab a blue crab trackable... which must have been what the previous folks thought, because it's already been in Maryland! Good luck on your journey!
