About This Item

On May 1, 1999, Larry and I were in a car accident. Larry was flown to St. Vincent's in Erie, PA. He spent 6 1/2 weeks in a full coma and another 6 monthes in a semi-vegatative state in two different nursing facilities. Larry is still under medical care at one of these facilities and still has a lust for life. At this time he is unable to travel far without difficulty so he and I decided that a travel bug bearing his name will do for now.

I hope by now that Larry is in better shape and able to enjoy hearing of the far away places that this little bug is finding itself taken to.

Larry's certainly on the move today - dropped in a newly published cache by the first to find at dawn, and picked up again by us as second to find a couple of hours later. We suspect he could do with a bit of a rest now, but the kids will make sure he's back on the road again in a few days.
