Current Goal

ZoZo wants to visit many caches. When she is not in a cache she would like to have her picture taken at a zoo.

About This Item

ZoZo the Zebra

ZoZo was named for my daughter Zoe. This zebra was part of a mobile that she played with as a baby. She also likes to visit zoos.

THIS TB HAS BEEN MISSING SINCE 2005. It's last REAL log was in 2005 after it moved from Virginia to New York. It got listed on one of those stupid TD Spoiler Groups on Facebook.

We picked ZoZo up along the historic river of Bull Run near Manassas Virginia. Ironically, we had just spent the day before visiting the National Zoo in DC! She's coming with us to upstate New York (Adirondacks), but I think we'll take her with us to Chicago for Thanksgiving to see the Brookfield Zoo there, and then let her wander the midwest for a while. Cute little thing and she's in very good shape!!

StarQ, RUCandy and I stopped for a quick walk in the woods on the way to Grandma's house. The sky was blue, the water was sparkly, the leaves were pretty and the bees were BIG! RUCandy was afraid of the bees but she did not run and she did not scream.

On the way back to Clifford the Big Red Truck, we saw a blackish-gray snake sunning itself on a large rock by the water. RUCandy startled another snake into the grass walking up the steps. There were lots of wildflowers still in bloom. We also saw a green leaf bug and a red & black bug resting on some plants.

A very nice hike.

Finally got over to this park to visit StarQ's other cache. RUCandy hit the swings while I pondered my pre-conceived notions of the cache hide. This one was fun. Even RUCandy was able to find it (with a little help).

ZoZo the Zebra TB and Cache or Die TB logging visits for mileage. We didn't make it to the Philadelphia Zoo to get ZoZo's picture taken there, but we did take some pictures out in horse country. Personal matter kept me from geocaching more. Hope to move these TBs along shortly.

I picked up ZoZo the Zebra TB, but I forgot to get her picture taken at the apple orchard petting zoo. Maybe we will head up to the Philly Zoo this weekend for an outing.

A picture has been posted/added to the cache page as of 20041123.
