To travel from Geocaching event to event in the hands of it's owner to be discovered and enjoyed by those that know this should NOT be a cache container
This is meant to be a parody on the kind of things some folks might try to submit as a cache container The actual write up might go something like this....
Dear Marko Ramius,
I must admit that I am a little flabbergasted that you have refused to publish my latest cache’ called “Cut The Red Wire” GCKABLAM. I agree that it is located on a railroad track, but…the trains (if they totally ignore the red flags I have put up) slow down considerably as they go by the adjacent nursery school grounds and I have warned the cachers to be careful of approaching trains in my encrypted hint.
If your real concern is that the children will play with the cache, I have thought of that also. If they totally ignore the danger high explosives sign clearly posted on the cache, they will be severely shocked by the 18 volt battery I have attached. Please don’t be concerned about the cache shaking loose as the trains pass over as I have securely fastened it to that rusty old track using Velcro strap. It seemed to be holding well when I left.
I have been told by an explosives expert friend of mine that it looks real, so that should keep the muggles and railroad inspectors away from it. Between you and me there is very very little explosives actually in it, just in case someone actually cuts the Red wire. I know…just another little twist to show my caching brilliance.
In closing I hope for all the above reasons you reconsider approving my cache.
Sincerely,
Stubby fingers

Luckily, the countdown never got to zero while at the OVC Nerd Day... While I have no idea if this looks lifelike, it looks close enough for me to actually feel a bit nervous touching it. Thanks for sharing!

Would have liked to have come across this one out on the trail somewhere. LOL 👍 And did you try Kosh for approval? He seems to approve everything but the caches that are well placed. 🤡 Had fun at the OVC Nerd Event! Time's up...........BOOM!
